Long before Rupert Longleggers was a tadpole in his pond within the hollow, there was Frumpy Rue. Born from a love of vintage jewelry, sparkles and vintage keepsakes, Kristina carefully curated and crafted unique one of a kind jewelry that was sold in her shop Frumpy Rue. For several years these pieces could be purchased online and then delivered with a French blue bow in trademark packaging featuring the peacock that proudly represented the brand. As the first ideas for Rupert Longleggers were taking hold and work on the novel was first undertaken, Frumpy Rue was quietly stepped back with the hopes it would one day be revived. This regal peacock that took shape in Kristina's imagination would soon find his way to the pages of the novel and into the streets of Savannah, GA where he would become a character in his own right. As the book is still being written, his story and his part in the larger tale will have to remain under tight wraps for now. All those sparkly jewels are still tucked away however and consideration is being given to offer them once more. Check back in for updates and be one of the first in line should Frumpy Rue open back up for business.
